Headquartered in Pleasanton, California, Calyxo is a commercial-stage urology medical device company focused on transforming kidney stone removal procedures. The company, originally Kalera Medical, was formed in 2016 through IP licensed out of Massachusetts General Hospital. The company’s lead product, the CVAC Aspiration System, is a steerable vacuum used to aspirate stone fragments following the use of a laser during stone removal procedures.
